Earning a Living Through Blogging: My June Journey from Home

Welcome to June’s business report! This month, I’ll share how I made money online and traveled full-time. If you’re new here, you might wonder why I publish these reports. Initially, I shared my side income, excluding my day job earnings. After leaving my financial analyst job in October 2013, I now report on my full-time business income.

People often ask why I share my income reports. Some think it’s crazy, but I enjoy it for three main reasons:

1. Before blogging, I knew nothing about side hustles or making money online. I thought the only way to increase income was through raises at a full-time job. Seeing others’ income reports inspired me to try side hustling. I hope to show others its benefits and how it can change lives.
2. Publishing my reports helps me track progress, learn from mistakes, and stay accountable.
3. I want to show that making money from home is possible and legitimate.

Life is great as my own boss and a full-time blogger. I love waking up every day excited about what I do. I share my monthly income reports to show that you don’t have to hate your job. You can make changes to enjoy your life more.

In case you’re new, my income comes from:
– Affiliate Marketing (the largest portion)
– Sponsored Partnerships
– Courses (Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing and Making Sense of Sponsored Posts)
– Display Advertising (using Adthrive)

I regularly earn over $100,000 a month and have made over $5,000,000 from blogging. Check out “How I Successfully Built A $1,000,000+ Blog” for more tips.

June 2019 was another great month. I earned a good income and enjoyed my time. I have many plans for the rest of the year, including:
– Focusing on SEO by taking a course
– Learning about Pinterest and Facebook advertising
– Adding an online shop to my blog
– Creating new email opt-ins to reach more readers

Overall, June was fantastic for blogging, courses, and life. I’m excited about my business and the future.

June was fun! I attended the Outwild event, a weekend of yoga, rock climbing, and delicious food. It was my first retreat and yoga class, and I’m glad I went. As a full-time traveler, it was great to meet like-minded people. The rest of the month, we worked on our boat and van, and I caught up on work and emails.

Some updates:
– I’m a month ahead in blog posts and aim to be 2-3 months ahead.
– Traffic was over 400,000 page views.
– I’m working on a series to help readers with specific financial questions.
– My community group on Facebook has over 15,000 members.
– I released a free course on starting a blog, with over 50,000 sign-ups.
– I also created the free “Master Your Money” email course, which has been well-received.
